I am going with my girlfriend and to Japan for 14 days to japan in july
We want to finish by Tokyo for buying stuff at the end of the trip
But we land at Narita and i am wondering if it’s better to stay one night at Tokyo before going to Kyoto or go directly to Kyoto from Narita (plane or train i depends which is easier and convinient)
Here would be the plan :
Day 1 : Land in Narita and go to Tokyo or Kyoto
Day 2-6 : Kyoto and some day trip from there (Osaka and maybe Uji)
Day 7 : One night in Hakone
Day 8-9 : Tokyo (maybe daytrip to Kamakura)
Day 10 : One night in Nikko
Day 11-14 : Tokyo
What do you think about this itinerary ?
Do you have advices of better places to go than the one that i have chosen ?
Also we will stay at 2 different hotel in Tokyo we heard this was nice because the city is huge so in which neighborhood should we book them ? (we haven’t booked any accommodation we are late i know ahah)
