I’m moving in pretty soon and currently contacting sharehouses. One that has replied so far said it took 10 days from application until contract. Is this normal or this one just took pretty long?
I’m a bit picky with smell so I want to visit in person at least once before filling the application, but 10 days is pushing a bit too close. And there is still some admirations to do after. Should I just apply now?

Not sure how sharehouse work but here in Japan people rent apartments without seeing them. If you are lucky and want to look for an apartment, you need to give a small deposit to reserve bc it will likely be taken from someone else.
