I am planning to do Mt Fuji this year. Given I live in Tokyo I have the whole season to attempt it. I will be going with a Japanese speaker so language barriers are not an issue. I just want to make the most of the climb, as it’s not really a thing I plan to repeat (there are other mountains!)
What timing do you recommend is the best weather wise (noting mountain climates are no guarantee at any time)
What mountain huts did you stay at?
Any general tips, things that made the experience special?
