Land and building as a business

Hi,
I am working on buying some land and putting a largish garage on it for my personal hobbies.

Would there be any benefit to registering a business and having the entire asset under a corporate ownerhsip?

And how difficult or expensive is it to incorporate a business and maintain a business with no income?

I guess theres a remote chance that in the future i could create something out of the garage and sell it online or use it as a warehouses for some kind of commercial product sold online
