Back in the 90s I once went to Osaka-jo Park on a Sunday afternoon and saw a line of 10-20 stages where rock/metal/punk bands played, all at the same time, powered by portable generators. It was crazy loud and a really good time. Do they still do that? Is it every weekend or on some kind of schedule?
