Hello, been living in tokyo for around 1 year here.
I want to get into casual bike riding on the weekends but don't want to commit to it yet. Perhaps 2-3 hours on weekends to go to some park and relax. Should I get a good mamachari (not sure how much this cost) or just use luup for now?
Base price: 50yen unlock fee + 15 yen per mintue
Sub price: 980yen monthly + 200 yen/30 minute OR base price whichever is lower.
Pretty sure some smart people here has done the math or perhaps can share their experience with me. Thanks!
edit: Thanks all, I will probably go to a local bike store to see what they have. Will buy one if my apartment still have a bike parking spot open. For the bike related insurance, I'll buy it on PayPay.
