Transitioning from Hotel Job to International Sales/Recruitment: Seeking Advice

Hello, Reddit community!

I'm currently working in a hotel in Japan and am looking to transition into a career in international sales or recruitment. I have 6 months of experience in international sales but none in recruitment.

While I'm not a native English speaker, I have a TOEIC score of 940 and a JLPT N3 certification. I'm eager to leverage my language skills and prior experience to move into a new field that offers more growth opportunities.

I'd love to hear from those who have made similar transitions or work in international sales or recruitment. What steps did you take to switch careers? Are there specific skills or certifications I should focus on? Any tips on networking or finding job openings in these fields would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your insights and advice!
