  1. Cute comic.

    蒸し暑いですね。/ むしあついですね。

    Mushi atsui desu ne?

    It is humid, isn’t it?

The rainy season started very late in the Kansai area this year.

    Hand towels/handkerchiefs are helpful.

  2. I have wavy hair usually but in this weather it gets full on curly and my head looks like a ball of hair. I really don’t like it, haha.

  3. Try the body cleansing sheets, they’re cooling. If that doesn’t work, use hand towels.
There’s also anti-fog tissues for glasses. I personally use the welcia brand. They’re great.

    Best of luck staying dry!

    Nice drawing btw.

    Reminder for anyone reading this:
please use an umbrella when it’s raining/drizzling because wet clothing mixed with dried sweat smell is the worst.

  4. The trick is to not walk, just swim.

Be one with the humid air, be water my friend.

  5. I think the same thing, everyone looks so dry, except me! I went to the park a couple miles from my house on Sunday. I packed a towel an extra shirt, deodorant, and body wipes. After I was done at the park I looked like I had been swimming so I washed off, changed clothes then took the bus home. It’s so bad when it stops raining and gets hot again. It’s better if it just keeps raining at least it’s cooler.

  6. Hahaha yeah. I’m in Yokohama this week for a conference and it is insanely humid out. It is actually steamy. I’m afraid of returning to Kyoto next week 🫣

  7. I’m convinced that today it got so humid the steam particles stuck together to start drizzling!

  8. Fr. I just gave up and rode my bike around in the rain all day today. It was surprisingly refreshing. Soaked for my dentist appointment? So what?

But when I went into the store that didn’t have AC I felt like a wet sponge that had just been squeezed.

  9. You’re lucky that you got to Kyoto and not Fukuoka, you would quickly know the real meaning of “being sticky” lmao
