i'll be traveling alone to osaka to visit my boyfriend (who lives there) and i'll be staying almost the entire month of my trip in osaka, aside from a few trips back and forth to kyoto, and one big trip to sasebo (for 3 days to visit a family member). since kyoto is relatively close to osaka, i'm going to most likely just take public transportation from osaka to kyoto for a day trip, but i may do this multiple times (i just don't want the hassle of figuring out more than one accommodation for different locations). i'll be staying in an airbnb in osaka, which my bf will stay at with me, so he at least has some ideas of what to do for fun while there, but are there any other touristy things to do that maybe he wouldn't think of since he's a native? ive been DYING to go to kyoto for years because of how historically beautiful it is, so i definitely need activities to do while there as well. honestly, if there’s any activities in nara that anyone recommends i would love to hear them as well since ill definitely be going there to visit the deer sanctuary! I also am very curious of what foods r must tries, even though i already have an extremely long list of all the different things i need to taste test while there lol. Is there anything specific i should put on my list that anybody recommends from personal experience or even from just hearing about?
