I’m a japanese but grew up in the Philippines.

Hello! I hope you take this message of mine with a grain of salt, I'm just really lost and I have anxiety.
Anyways, I am a 22 years old with a degree of BA International Studies and International Relations. I am planning to move to Japan for good (w my sister there which is younger than me — I want to support her since my father is already in the age that he should be enjoying the fruit of his hard work; like helping me support and finish my college).

I have a prior experience of working 3 months in a factory, then I worked in a japanese night club twice. I would say that my japanese is around n4 or so, a bit knowledgeable. I can hold a converstion for a minute. Since I'm only in japan for about two months or one month to work back then. In short, every natsu yasumi and fuyuuyyasumi I go there to work. However, these works that I have secured were due to my friends. A classmate of mine in the Philippines who happened to be a Japanese too asked me to work with her in a factory during our summer break, so we both did our best seeking for a job (though she grew up there that's why her Japanese is great), and along the way I found fellow filipino friends who encouraged me to work on a night club (omise).

Since now I just recently graduated, and we are located in Hachioji Tokyo, l'd like to ask all of you on what steps should I be taking when seeking a job. I really want a sort of administrative / office / industry and the like job, and I worked with an NGO during my internship, so I was wondering where should I go, or like the process? I really want to work after graduation so that I can help financially with my dad, since my mom passed away when I was in 11th grade.

  2. It sounds like you are a citizen so you aren’t restricted to certain jobs like most other posters here.

So, your only major hurdle is Japanese. Get your Japanese up to fluency and your opportunities open up.
