Hello, I have a question I would like some clarity on if anyone has any experience with a similar situation.
I am getting close to the 10 year mark and am looking into applying for Permanent Residency when I do. However, when I first moved to Japan I had an exemption to not pay into the pension for about 18 months, and then the following 12 months I had a 50% exemption.
Will this affect me applying for permanent residency? I was working full time then.
The websites I have checked online just seem to say I need proof of having paid all the pension stuff on time.
