I will be moving to Osaka this month on a work visa. As an avid PC gamer, I had planned on building my own gaming setup once I got there, but I found out that my company will only pay me my salary on the last day of the month following my start date. So, basically, two months without salary. The money I thought I would use to buy a gaming PC will be needed to cover my rent and living expenses for two months.
I have thought of two possible solutions for this:
- I already have a gaming setup here, so I could bring my motherboard, RAM, SSD, CPU, and GPU and get the case, power supply, and coolers there. Around how much will it cost to get these three plus a monitor, table, and chair? (Also, I think it will be risky as there is a chance that the parts might get damaged during the flight.)
- Buy a PC on a monthly installment but I don't know if it's possible there.
What do you guys suggest?
