Hey all!
I have a Japanese girlfriend that I plan on proposing to and then hopefully moving to Japan sometime next year.
(She lives in Japan and I live in America)
I’m a little confused about the CoE / spouse visa process.
The website I was looking at says you need to submit a marriage certificate with the application for the CoE.
So if I am still in America and we are not married yet how would I submit the application for the CoE?
I haven’t found any good resources for non married couples with one living outside of Japan.
all the information I can find online seem to be for couples that are already married or both living in Japan.
If you have any resources I would greatly appreciate it!
