I work for a BNPL acquired by American company in 2021. In typical American fashion of not caring about anybody, the parent company plans to sell us to a Japanese venture firm and its most of us may lose our jobs. How long does a visa last if you aren’t fired but the whole company simply evaporates? I was planning I go back to Australia for a visit, can I come back to Japan if the company is closed while I’m away?
