Yen

I'm travelling to Japan in August, im not knowledgeable on currency and conversion rates also currencies being strong and weak.

I've seen in the news, the Japanese Yen is weak right now? Would that benefit me if I converted GBP to Yen? Sorry if it's an obvious question.
