I will be flying into Narita and staying in Tokyo for 7 days. We booked a room at Mesm Tokyo in the Minato area. This is our first time in Japan. Our plans are to eat and shop (Uniqlo, vintage 2nd hand stores).
I heard that our hotel is in a quiet area and most of the shopping seems located in Shinjuku, which doesn’t seem close.
From your experience, how far is it to the popular shopping and eating areas, what’s the best way to get there and how much walking will be involved.
For background context, my boyfriend is recovering from an injury so we’d like to get an expectation on how physically taxing it will be to get to the ‘fun’ areas.
