I see that the yen is very low and I would like to take advantage and convert my US dollar to yen as I plan on traveling next year, but as a foreigner who only plans to go for a short vacation, I can’t open up a bank account there and if I were to convert the US dollar to physical yen here in the US, I would have to pay a lot of taxes when carrying it with me to Japan, so what exactly are my options?
