First time in Japan, Itinerary check/tips

It's my first time in Japan and preparing an itinerary gives me stress since there are so many things to see that I don't even know where to start.
If anyone cares to take a quick look at it and give some advice on how to improve/what to add I would be grateful!

To start, I have a few questions.
With the Kansai pass, can I move anywhere without needing the suica? Is Amanohashidate included in the Kansai pass? I can't find any information about it.

Is two and a half days in Kyoto enough? can I see what I wrote in the first few days, or is it too much? still have day 8 free, I don't know whether to go to Tokyo or stay in Kyoto.

Regarding luggage, I would like to bring a backpack for clothes, a check-in suitcase and then buy another one in Tokyo. What did you do?

Last thing, would like to use Kyoto as a hub so as not to waste half a day moving to hotel in Osaka, is it worth it?
