How different will Hakone be in mid-july compared to all of the travel guides portray Hakone?
Almost all of the travel guides I've seen on Hakone, features a picturesque white-capped view of Mt. Fuji as a backdrop, but I understand Fuji is barely visible from prettymuch anywhere in July. Are there still great mountain views from Hakone regardless of weather? What are the chances Fuji can be seen at all from Hakone in July? Would Hakone be more crowded this time of year because it's slightly cooler than other destinations? Also, would a ryokan, or onsen be less enjoyable if we will be hot and humid all day?
