Myself and my two teenage boys are climbing mt fuji next month. After the climb we would like to stay in traditional japanes style room with a private open air onsen and lots of nature. I am looking at places in Hokane but am overwhelmed at the choices. I am open to other areas also. We won't have a car and will have luggage to carry. After 1 night in the onsen we will be heading to Kyoto. Any suggestions. I am looking to spend up to $600 usd.
