Thanks to this sub and the Redditors over at r/JapanTravel, my partner and I have managed to put together our final itinerary. Now we just have some final questions.
Tokyo – Kamakura and back: doable just with Suica/IC card? Or do we need tickets in advance?
Tokyo – Yokohama and back (also just to try the Shinkansen). Tickets in advance for the Shinkansen, or buy on the day of? We don't need seats, it's a short trip IIRC.
E-sim: is Ubigi a good provider?
We know that we're gonna need cash for some entrances and various fees / small stores. Do the ATM's at 7/11 accept foreign Mastercard (debit)?
