Where are some good places to go that are at most 3 hours drive from Tokyo that will have easy hiking trails and show case autumn colours. Ideally with an onsen to retire to for an overnight stay. An onsen town like Kinosaki would be ideal. Anything like that closer to Tokyo?
I’m thinking around the Fuji 5 lakes area. Any better candidates than that?
