I’m going for a trip with my toddler for about a few days in Tokyo and Hakone. Any advice regarding the following areas 🙏
1) food – any family friend food recs in Asasuka, Shibuya, Ikkebukuro, Shinjuku? Also, are high chairs in restaurants common?
2) should we go Akihabara as a family? Is it weird for us
3) Hakone – onsen town. Do they have any child friendly activities or onsens here?
4) Shinkansen – any tips with kids for this?
5) We heard horror stories of jam packed metro trains where it’s hard to use a stroller, we wanna go Shibuya on a weekday, and maybe Asasuka on Sat morning, bad idea?
6) one last thing – is it crazy hot and uncomfortable now in July? Hoping Hakone will be cooler than Tokyo 🙏
