Hoping to get some advice on hotel recommendations. Last time we went to Japan, we stayed at the Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel and loved it:
– hotel was new and clean
– breakfast was great
– there was a convenience store by the hotel lobby
– it was pretty close to a subway station
– rooms were decently sized at 30m2.
Price was also very reasonable at approx. $250 CAD per night. The downside was that it’s quite far from everything.
This time, we’re hoping to stay in the Akasaka area so that we’re closer to everything (planning on visiting Tokyo tower, Shinjuku area, Ikebukuro area). However, I’m finding it quite hard to find any rooms that are 25m2 (or larger) for a similar price (no breakfast included is fine).
