I booked a very last minute trip to Tokyo. This is my first time visiting Japan and I am traveling solo. I have done a ton of research for this trip because I’ve had to postpone it twice since 2020. My original plan was to go to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka over three weeks but life had other plans and now I finally said eff it, I HAVE to go this year! I will spend a week just focusing on Tokyo with a day trip outside the city.
I’d appreciate some feedback on the itinerary I have planned and whether or not this is realistic, taking into consideration that this trip is happening at the end of July when it’s very hot and humid.
Please share your thoughts if I have packed too much in a single day, or if I picked a particular day that might not be ideal due to closures. I also have a lot of flexibility for my last day and the morning I leave in case I run out of time and need to go back to an area.
A little about me – I love spending time outside especially walking through parks. I am animal lover (I have two cats). Obsessed with food, especially Japanese or any East Asian cuisine and I love to try new flavors. I dont drink a lot, like hardly at all but I will enjoy a cocktail or two in a fun atmosphere. I am also a morning person so I have absolutely no problem waking up at the break of dawn to take everything in.
Thank you!
