Okay, I get that this is a lame question, but I just need an answer for peace of mind.
I will be leaving Japan soon, as will a good handful of my good friends. I cancelled a bunch of contracts, and was told that I will be getting a cancellation fee for one of them about a month after I leave. I thought this wouldn't be a big deal, I could just ask one of my few friends staying. Well, it didn't work out and now I might not have someone reliable to pay it.
My question is, what happens if the fee isn't paid (as in, I ask someone to do it on my behalf after I leave and they pocket the money or something). It looks like credit cards aren't an option either.
I just want to do right and get my bills paid.
