So I got an informal job offer via email today. I’ve gotta call the new company tomorrow to talk to them.
I know I should wait until my Inkan ink is dry on the new contract before I talk to my current company but I have a few questions.
I’m 正社員 and have PR so no issues there.
I because we’re already into July, I’d like to give at least a month’s notice, would leaving in the middle of the month be a pain for accounting? Like say after obon holidays? Is two months a bit much? Like say start on September first? Or is it weird to start in the middle of the week?
Any paperwork I need for the new job? I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row. It’s my first resignation from a full time job and not just leaving after the contract is up.
