Hello. My husband and I are
planning to visit Hokkaido in December with our baby who will be 1 year old and 3 months and his parents, both senior citizens.
We are from the Philippines which is generally a sunny country. I’m worried about the sudden weather/temperature change, specifically temperature drop will make our baby sick. We plan to stay for 5 day. Is it practical and enjoyable to travel to Hokkaido given our situation?
Another option is to stay in an onsen near lake kawaguchico—and that would be a totally different experience vs winter in hokkaido. Which is more baby and senior friendly?
Would appreciate any thoughts and tips 🙂
