Snow conditions in Niseko: Is late November / early December too early to expect good conditions?

My wife and I are doing a trip to visit family in Asia and planning a 2-week side-trip to Japan. We're avid skiers and would like to do 4-5 days at Niseko; is late November / early December too early to expect enjoyable conditions at Niseko? We're somewhat flexible in that we can push until mid December if needed, but trying to gauge if earlier would be viable since that fits best with our broader Asia trip schedule.
