Japan in September with a 7mo baby?

Hi all, my wife and I were meant to go to Japan in 2020 but didn't due to obvious reasons! We had a baby early this year and ummed and ahhed about whether to book a trip to Japan, and we eventually decided to just go for it! We are coming for 2 weeks in September, by which time our daughter will be 7 months. Are we mad? Possibly, but our daughter is a very good baby, very chilled and we have taken her away to France already and into London many times with no problems. We also thought that at this age, before she is walking etc she'll be easier to take on such a holiday than she would be when older and walking etc, so it was either now or we wait a fair few years before coming to Japan.

My concern is the weather in September. We booked September a) because I thought the weather would be OK (knew it would be hot but probably underestimated how hot and humid) and b) October and November is a bit busy for us with other things happening so was difficult to get a window for the trip. Any later than this and we'd be in starting-to-walk territory.

Weather seems quite hot and humid in September, not to mention its typhoon season, which to be honest I thought was mainly earlier in the year. So my concern is, will this be a tricky time of year to travel in Japan with a baby? Will it be so hot and humid that it will make things really difficult? Or am I overthinking this? I live in southeast England and we've had 25-30 degrees C weather this week, so its not like our daughter has never experienced such weather, but the humidity here is probably significantly less than Japan in September. I am contemplating whether we need to rearrange our flights for October but a) that will be hundreds of £s more and b) will be tricky schedule wise for us, so would only want to do this if its really going to make a significant difference.

Thanks all
