Income tax prepayment due July – no payslip provided?

This is my first year paying Japanese income tax (for 2023). I know (for 2024) there is a first prepayment due on July 31st, but until now I haven't received any payslip I could pay this with at a conbini (like I received for resident tax).

I got a letter from the FTA in June, but it doesn't say "pay this sum by July 31st" or something. There is my tax base in it, and some yen amounts of tax – but no specified dates and no payslips enclosed (if I understand correctly- my Japanese is not that great).

Does that mean I have to pay by 31st July via credit card, for instance (via kokuzei noufu website where I already paid for 2023) and then choose "first estimated" in the declaration category? If yes, I'm still not 100% sure about the amount.

Thanks a lot for some clarification – I'm a bit confused because up to now I always received payslips for everything – very convenient!
