Planning a trip for next May, we are staying in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Hotels are already booked, but I really want to have a private onsen experience with my partner. To do this do I need to stay at a hotel with a private bath in room? Or is booking available like a hot springs in the US? Any help is much appreciated, it is our first trip to Japan and we could not be more excited!
