I have about a year left for my MBA program (on a student/working visa) and I'd like to stay in Japan, but my career choiced are limited because I'm only at JLPT N3. Per a friend on base in Yokosuka's suggestion, I'm searching USjobs.com for jobs open to the public. Is it possible to apply for these positions (ex. Recreation Assistant) without SOFA status? I also have 10+ years healthcare experience, and there are some health care worker jobs available. I am unsure of all these pay scales and grades and what I am eligible to apply for.. am I barking up the wrong tree?
