So the four of us. Mum, Dad and two teenage boys are off to Tokyo (departing from Australia), for the first time at the end of the week for six nights. Staying at a "Disney neighbour" hotel on the bay.
I'll just start by saying this reddit forum has been invaluable for information and general nerve-calming advice. So, cheers for that!
Apologies if this has been covered before but I have a couple of questions still:
- We're "kind of" keen to experience Disney, but the YouTube clips suggest that it's a bit of a nightmare. Sea or Land…or neither?
- I'll book a pocket WiFi to pick up at the airport. 3, 5 or 10GB? Missus and I will have our global roaming turned on, so it's mainly for the phone-fixated boys who have a rubbish provider here. Also…is insurance on the pocket unit worth doing?
- Nervous about the money-side of things, but I've been assured that our current VISA Debit card will be fine (albeit with the 3% transaction fee) and I'll be getting some Yen before we go. Cash is King, right?
Really looking forward to the trip and getting back on Reddit to share our 1st-timer thoughts.
