Trying to decide between an area to stay in Tokyo based on two hotels which I have shortlisted. The hotels are in Bunkyo City (Hotel Chinzanso) and in Ginza (Imperial Tokyo). I understand that staying in Bunkyo City slightly limits access to public transportation, but Chinzanso seems quieter and I believe sections of the Imperial Hotel are undergoing construction, so not sure how noisy the rooms at the Imperial may get. So, getting to the questions, is Bunkyo City a reasonably decent choice to stay in Tokyo for 5 days, or will it add an hour or two every day to daily activities, and is the Imperial under construction an inferior option to Chinzanso?
