PR with Japanese children

Hi,

I'm recently divorced from my Japanese wife. I stupidly never applied for PR when we were together over 15 years. Anyway we have 2 children. I tried starting a company but was unsuccessful and my visa is set to expire. Is it a guarantee I'll get PR because I have 2 kids I need to support in Japan? I don't have steady work now. Just living off savings and part time
