Spending a little over two weeks in japan. Any recommendations to my itinerary?

First off I'd like to clarify that I'm going at the end of August and I know I'll be dying of heat!

Day 1 to 5 : Tokyo
– so far the only thing that's been absolutely decided on is Disney sea and team labs. I'm undecided whether I really want to visit Mt fuji or not. Is Nikko worth a day trip in the summer or is that more of a fall activity?

Day 6 and 7: Takayama. I felt like takayama would be a nice break after so much traveling and the busy atmosphere of tokyo. Plans there are undecided yet but I know it's relatively small and shirawaka go is high on everyone's lost.

Day 8 to 11: kyoto. I was crushed to learn that amanohashidate is two hours away and it's a place I really wanted to visit. I have a feeling my friend will prefer nara but is visiting both areas feasible in 4 days?

Day 12 and 13: 1 night in Hiroshima and 1 night in miyajima. Do the standard tourist things there! But hoping staying the night on miyajima will allow me to take a late night walk and early morning walk without crowds.

Day 14 to 17: osaka. Is a kobe trip worth it? I haven't planned anything out there yet!

Day 18: last day in Tokyo before the flight the next day.

So a summary of my questions. Is Mt fuji an absolute must or are there other day trips that are worth it and nice in the summer? Is amanohashidate and nara both feasible in 4 days while still being able to explore kyoto and lastly, is a kobe day trip worth it with 4 nights in osaka?

Thanks folks
