We are currently weighing up if it will be worth us buying a 21 day pass for our trip to Japan in October.
Looking at some prices we see if you look at google maps and some of the JR pass calculators it appears it could be worth it. Especially when you add in smaller trips in Tokyo and Osaka but I’m. It sure how up to date costs are.
We are also not sure if it would be better to get regional passes to allow us to go between Osaka and Kumamoto free and buy the other passes. It seems it could save even more money but not sure if it worth the hassle of having to pay for the other trips.
Anyone with an ok idea of train prices to see if the below minus the initial Narita to Tokyo trip is worth 10000¥ would be greatly appreciated
