Hey everyone, I love this subReddit! We are travelling to Japan for 9 days in October. It will be me, my 5 month pregnant wife, and a toddler (20 months old). We're just trying to make sure our itinerary is realistic. We are usually less city people, and more interested in nature/culture. We are travelling from California, USA. Japan is 16 hours ahead. We will be travelling during our local morning time, and will arrive 2:30pm in Japan time (this will be around 11PM for our local time).
With the above in mind, is our time in Tokyo too little? Should we remove a day from Kyoto and add to Tokyo? We are open to all your suggestions as we still haven't finalised what exactly we'll be doing in Osaka/Nara/Kyoto.
We also don't have Mt. Fuji in our itinerary right now. Is this a must? Are we missing out by not seeing it?
