  1. Molly coddling teenagers was never a good idea.

They were disenfranchized to simply protect the older workers.

So now we have generations of immature adults. Masses of sheeple.

  2. I wonder why. So many of the kiddos hang with their parents until they’re like 30 or so, they seem not to have any desire to build their own lives, pull their own weight, and go their own ways. Hotel mama all the way. Why would one want to call them adults?

  3. I’m 38 and I look around at my fellow humans and realize that like 5% of the people I know I would call Adults. But then again I may be mistaking adult with responsibility, sanity, and the ability to put aside ones needs and do what is best for others.

  4. I’d appreciate it if they could raise the official age of becoming an ojisan.

  5. This is major.

Some 18/19 y/o’s are legally tied to their parents.
I personally have a friend that is in an abusive home situation and this will change everything for her for the best.

  6. Oh this was mentioned at the last coming of age day I think. Still can’t smoke drink or gamble, but you can go into debt.
