Arrivals process timing

Apologies if this kind of post is not allowed.

I'm wondering if anyone could give an indication of how long the process of getting a zairyu at the airport takes.

I know it's impossible to accurately estimate time from landing to leaving the airport, but I've only ever arrived in Japan as a tourist before so I have no sense of whether the zairyu card process takes a long time compared to a normal arrival.

I also don't know if this varies by visa, but I have a 5-year researcher visa & an Australian passport.
