This is name of a character in game. I use google translate on the first one , it pronounce “Nyirou”. I’m so confusing why it pronounced like this. The second one I write it by myself.
When you see the little character it’s a small sound and it combines with the character before, whereas the second is a big one so it makes its own distinct sound. That’s the eli5 anyway.

The origin of the name is Persian/Farsi, meaning water lily, and from what I can tell ニィロウ it’s the best approximation of the native pronunciation, which has a more voiced ‘throat’ origin for the ‘n’ sound, as opposed to the standard ニ sound in Japanese.
