Need help with my 20 day November itinerary

Hello! I'm going to Japan for the first time in November with my friend (also his first time). At this point we're trying to figure out our whole itinerary but as I'm looking at traveling between the places we want to go I'm wondering the best way/order we should visit where we'd like to or possibly get better recommendations on where we should go as first timers and completely overhaul the schedule.

Right now the only thing we have booked is a reservation at Morizuya in Toyooka because we both wanted to visit somewhere with hot springs and really liked this place, but most of the Ryokan in town were booked up except for one night I could find here. However, if needed we could cancel and stay at a Ryokan and see some hot springs somewhere else. Outside of that we plan on staying at cheaper hotels, hostels and capsule hotels but I won't lock those in until we lock the itinerary in.

Some areas we are trying to visit are the Fuji area, Nara, Osaka, Kyoto, Izu, Kobe and Kanazawa, but again outside of these we are flexible! I have the first half below, but I'm wondering if doing Osaka and Kyoto before Toyooka is a bad idea and if we should just do one and the other after so we can hit Kobe first. Also getting up to Kanazawa in the second leg of the trip seems to be a bit of travel to go there and then get back to Tokyo afterwards where we want to spend a few days before we leave.

Travel – 1 hour

~Day 6 (15th, Fri) – Osaka~

~Day 7 (16th, Sat) – Kyoto~

~Day 8 (17th, Sun) – Kyoto~

~Day 9 (18th, Mon) – Toyooka~

Travel – 2.5 hours

Check in at Morizuya after 3
