I’m traveling to Japan in Mid-October by myself for the first time! Feel free to answer as many questions as you’d like!
How safe is it as woman to go by myself to the bars at night? Obviously, I am not planning on getting wasted but interested in experiencing the nightlife.
How early do I need to send my bags to luggage service from my hotel in Ueno to arrive at Narita airport?
-Likewise, if I’m buying a check in sized luggage and sending it to my hotel through a luggage service, is it likely to get there the same day or should I just bring it on the train with me?
Are there any lesser known observation decks/bars/restaurants that have a good view of the Shibuya crossing? I’ve been trying to research but am seeing a lot of the same places (Magnet, Shibuya Sky, etc)
I’m worried because there’s so many things to try but I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish everything I order. For example, if I want to experience omakase or simply donburi. Is there a negative view on an unfinished meal? And do restaurants in Japan usually allow food to be taken home like in to go boxes?
Is Kamakura/Enoshima super crowded (Kyoto comparison) on the weekends?
