I am in the UK looking to apply for an eikaiwa teaching post, ideally with AEON or ECC – their UK applications are currently open, with in-person interviews scheduled for early September (ECC) and early October (AEON). However, applying now could mean having to move to Japan sooner than I would prefer (it says start dates are 4-6 months from application, and I'm looking to move spring 2025 or later). As I understand it, eikaiwa companies hire year-round, but can anyone tell me roughly when the next interview cycle is likely to be so I can judge whether or not to hold off on applying? (If it's a long wait I may go ahead anyway.) Thanks.
