I’ve been on a spousal visa for a little under a decade but am planning to move back to the US. Pretty soon. My parents have me on a special needs trust totaling roughly about $2 million USD. If you’re not familiar with that kind of trust apparently I’m only given a certain amount every year. When they pass will I be subject to Japanese inheritance tax?
