Itinerary Outline v2 – 2 week trip

Last week I posted my first draft of my itinerary. I agreed with the feedback that it was going to be too much rushing around and I made some cuts. I also moved when the time in Hakone would be to avoid inflated hotel prices and crowds for cultural day weekend. So, wanted to get input on this updated one. For context, I'll be going for my honeymoon 10/23-11/7. We are both 30 y/o, active and able bodied. Traveling from Eastern US.

10/23 – depart US

10/24 – arrive HND 14:20 – get settled, stay at cheap hotel in tokyo

10/25 – 7:00am train to Hakone – arriving around 8:30 or so, spend day in Hakone, night in ryokan

10/26-10/28 – travel to Osaka 10/26, stay in Osaka 3 nights. Potential day trip to Kobe

10/29-10/31 – stay in Kyoto

* will visit Nara during anytime in Osaka/Kyoto

11/1/-11/2 – travel to Kanazawa 11/1, stay 2 nights, day trip on 11/2 to Shirakawago

11/3-11/6 – travel to Tokyo 11/3, 4 nights in Tokyo – optional day trip to Yokohama

11/7 – fly home from HND in the afternoon

My previous itinerary had too much hotel hopping but I think this one is much more balanced. The only place we'd be staying 1 night is Hakone. Do you think arriving early in the morning and staying 1 night will leave enough time to enjoy the place? Is there anything you'd switch around? Less time spent in Osaka?

Thanks for your input!
