Hi! I’m a 19-year-old living in Japan. I’m currently studying at a Japanese language school, and I’m going to apply to universities this year.
I want to have an IT-related job in the future, but I am wondering which university is better in terms of job opportunities and employment in Tokyo. I’ll apply to Sophia University FLA program and Arizona State University (Software Engineering online program).
ASU may be a better option since it is aligned with the field of work I want to have, but I am uncertain whether a degree in a mediocre US university is better than Sophia University if I am going to work in Japan.
Diploma and transcripts from ASU won’t state that you’re an online student, so my degree will be just the same as any other ASU student
