I have lived in Adachi and enjoyed a huge room (60m less than 100k) but everything here is so inconvenient and I'm tired of taking the nippori toneri liner just to get anywhere like a gym. I also realised I completely don't need any of the stuff I have like sofas, beanbags, etc and I'm completely happy living in 20m or less of space. This really opened up my possibilities to live basically anywhere around Tokyo, including right next to Mita (my work) or even Shinjuku. There's plenty of small apartments less than 100k within walking distance of all these major stations and I want to try living somewhere in the city city.
Has anyone done this? Regretted the lack of space? Is there any benefits to living so close to the stations and sacrificing space? Where would you do this best?
Honestly I just want my gym, gyomu super and coin laundry and I'll be happy
