As the title says, I've been looking into moving to Japan for Nursing. I'm still in high school, so I have a few years before it would happen, but I don't really know where to start. The first thing I did was begin learning the language so I can communicate with people without relying on Google translate or other international students.
I recently started looking into schools for Nursing but I don't know how the education gap will affect things. In America, I have a 4.4 GPA and have more struggles with boredom than understanding the material. However, the American ducation system honestly sucks and I don't know how that might affect things going into General Education classes in college. I also don't know if I should apply to good Universities or Community/Public Colleges due to this.
Another concern of mine is health and accessibility. I have Asthma along with multiple Neurological disorders that require me to use forearm crutches or a wheelchair most of the time. Are there any specific places that are easy to get around or have accessible options for transportation? This could be a deal breaker because I need my aides to get around. I have a very difficult time standing for more than 20 minutes on a good day.
Would Japan be a good option for me? America is becoming increasingly more unsafe and far too expensive for someone with disabilities. I'm hoping to move to another country that I can actually afford to live in while not having to worry about being harassed for being young and disabled.
